Description: Nice excavated example that appears to be a water recovery. This example has an intertwined foliate script "RA” on the face and a "2” within an oval of arrows below. This example is missing the shank and still retains quite a bit of detail along with some silver gilt. A very nice button from the War of 1812 Era!
