Z6290 .58 Berdan Conversion Musket Cartridge

Description: Nice .58 metallic cartridge for use with the Berdan System conversion muskets. The Berdan System conversion from muzzle-loading to breech-loading was introduced and patented in 1869. This example has a flat nose bullet with a single exposed cannelure, a drawn brass case, and a Berdan primer. Nice example with a few oxidation spots and one powder spot near the head.
