Z6315 Full Box of .41 Long Rimfire Cartridges by Winchester
Description: Full and correct two-piece box of No. 41 Long rimfire cartridges by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company (WRACo) of New Haven, Connecticut. The box is intact, and the side seal is open. The top label is in great shape with a small portion missing from the lower right corner. There is soiling and the top label is fully legible. Most of the side seal label is intact with wording on the top portion. The box has soiling with a few split corners and seams on the lid. The splits inside of the lid have been professionally repaired. An excellent early box with "Metallic Cartridges” and the incorrect Stetson’s Patent date of October 24th, 1871. The true date for Stetson’s Patent No. 120,403 is October 31, 1871. The ammo needs to be removed and dusted off!
