Z6429 10Ga. "Romax” N.P.E. Shotshell by U.S.C.Co.

Description: Very nice No. 10 or 10Ga. N.P.E. shotshell. This example is known as the "Romax” and was manufactured by the United States Cartridge Company of Lowell, Massachusetts. This is a "black powder” shell and was one of the many "Black Shells” produced by U.S.C.Co. It has a black paper body, a low brass cup, and a copper primer. Excellent example with good color and form.

Headstamp: "No. 10 / US / ROMAX” in dished channel

Measures: 2 7/8” or 2.891” RD .917” HD .842”

Reference: "The Shotshell in the United States” Iverson 182 (Circa 1911+)
