Z6490 18MM Swiss Milbank-Amsler Rimfire Cartridge
Description: Very nice and desirable 18mm (.709”) rimfire cartridge known as the Milbank-Amsler. These were used in the 1867 Prelaz-Burnand conversion rifles. This is the largest size rimfire manufactured for any of the conversion rifles. This example has a lightly oxidized bullet with a slightly necked copper case. There is writing on one side and lubricant around the case mouth.
Headstamp: Impressed triangle with raised dot and two tic marks.
Measures: OAL 1.573” CL .990” RD .810” HD .734” CM .705” BDaCM .703”
