Z6470 .36 Smith Sporting Rifle Rubberized Cartridge
Description: Decent filler until another comes along. This is a .36 rubber cartridge for the Smith sporting rifle. It has a pointed projectile that is similar to a Hanovarian and it came with the cartridge. Why these two were paired, I have no idea. It may be the original bullet used in a certain variant set of cartridges, but it doesn’t match the nose profile of the examples in the book. The rubber case is original and does not contain powder. There is some chipping on one side of the case and the rest remains in great shape. An extremely tough variant to find in any condition! I don’t believe this is the original projectile used in this cartridge but could very well have been a replacement at some point in time.
