Z6510 .45 Automatic Cartridge, M1906 Rimless
Description: Very nice M1906 Automatic Pistol Ball cartridge manufactured at the Frankford Arsenal in April of 1906. These were manufactured for use in the 1906-1907 Board tests. This is the rimless version. This cartridge is loaded with a 230-grain cupronickel-jacketed bullet. There is a single bullet seating cannelure on the casing. This is the forerunner of what was to become the .45 ACP cartridge for the Model 1911. Very nice example with two small scratches on the bullet.
