Z6631 .41 Volcanic Pistol Cartridge, No. 2 Brass & Cork
Description: Very nice, clean example of the No. 2 .41 Volcanic Pistol and/or Carbine cartridge. This is the larger size known as the No. 2 cartridge. It has the post-December 1855 brass cap, cork wafer, and iron anvil. These were originally packaged in a tin container with 2 rows of 100 rounds. An excellent example of the type found in Civil War camps. You would be hard pressed to upgrade this example!
