Z6772 Scarce Brass 12Ga. Roper Revolving Shotgun Shotshell
Description: Nice example of the scarcer brass 12Ga. Roper shotshell for use with the Roper Revolving Shotgun. Most of the roper variants are machined steel cases. This example has a raised steel nipple and would have taken a 1.75 SPC primer. The nipple can be screwed out from the inside of the case if cleaning is needed. The Roper Repeating Rifle Company was in Amherst, Massachusetts. The brass case is nice with some tarnished spots. An excellent example of the scarcer brass variety!
