Z6819 MBA 13MM Bundy-Tube Gyrojet Rocket
Description: Nice example of the 13mm Gyrojet rocket with the experimental Bundy-tube case. Bundy-Tubes were manufactured by the Bundy Tubing Company of Michigan and were used in the automotive industry. They were perfect for Gyrojet tubes because the copper-plated steel sheets could be rolled and soldered.
This example has a visible soldered seam and a riveted aluminum nose. The four-port nozzle is held in place with a single cannelure and the nozzle is sealed with aluminum foil from the inside. A choice example of a Gyrojet with an experimental case!
