Z6805 .45-75-485 Reduction Trials Experimental Cartridge I.E.P.#400
Description: Rare sectioned .45 reduction experimental cartridge. This is known as the .45-75-485 Laidley. There was an entire series of these in the Philadelphia Exposition of 1876. This example is known as #400 of Drawer No. 9.
The full series of .45 reduction experimental cartridges were located in drawer 9 and were necked down .50-70 Cartridges. This is an internally Benet-primed centerfire cartridge with a copper cup. Lewis states this is the same as No. 399. It has a 485 Laidley bullet with four cannelures exposed.
