Description: Scarce 8Ga. "board dummy” shotshell manufactured by the Union Metallic Cartridge Company of Bridgeport, Connecticut. This is perfect for someone who is restoring an old U.M.C. cartridge board and needs the correct type. This shell measures 3 ¼” in length and would date to the early 1880’s. This example has a soiled brown paper hull with two holes, a brass cup, and a copper primer. The case mouth is as nice as they come!
