Description: Very nice N.P.E. nickel-plated shotshell. This example was manufactured by The Fowler Plating Company of New Haven, Connecticut. Iverson states, "The Fowler firm was in business at least as early as the 1880’s. They were the predecessors of the American Gun Implement Company. This shell measures 2 5/8” and has a copper No. 2 primer. The rim size designates this shell as a 12A size shotshell.
