Z6907 .32-40 Remington and Hepburn "Board Dummy” Cartridge
Description: Choice example of the .32-40 2 1/8” case "board dummy” cartridge. These cartridges were used in the Remington No. 1 rolling block and the No. 3 Hepburn single-shot rifles. It has a flat nose lead bullet with a tapered brass case and copper primer. There are four holes punched into the case on the board side. This one came in tagged as a product of U.M.C. An excellent example!
