Z6975 .38-40 W.C.F. Board Dummy Cartridge by Winchester

Description: Nice "board dummy” example known as the .38 or .38-40 W.C.F. cartridge. These were manufactured for the Winchester Model 1873 lever action rifle. It has a wooden dowel on the interior and two holes punched on the board side. It has a flat nose lead bullet, a brass case, and a copper primer. Nice example with plenty of lacquer left.
