Z6982 .44 S&W American Board Dummy Cartridge by Winchester

Description: Nice "board dummy cartridge known as the .44 Smith & Wesson "American” cartridge. These were manufactured for the Smith & Wesson "American” No. 3 revolver. It has a wooden dowel on the interior with two holes punched on the board side. It has a pointed lead bullet with a single knurled cannelure, a brass case, and a copper primer. Nice example with plenty of original lacquer left!
