Z6964 1” Gatling Gun "Board Dummy” Cartridge by U.M.C.
Description: Rare 1” Gatling Gun "Board Dummy” cartridge manufactured by the Union Metallic Cartridge Company of Bridgeport, Connecticut. This example has a belted round nose lead bullet, a brass case, and a copper primer. The case has two very small dents, and the bullet has scratches and marks. The brass case has four holes drilled into the board side. Nice example that is more than likely from a late 1800’s cartridge board by U.M.C. A tough one to track down!
