Z6962 1” Gatling Gun Canister Cartridge (Bar Anvil-Primed)
Description: Very nice 1” Gatling gun canister cartridge manufactured at the Frankford Arsenal around 1866. This is the early version with the iron Bar Anvil-primer. It has a 1” Ball in the front with approximately 15 .48-50 round balls behind it. This example has an oxidized bullet and a mottled copper case with one very small dent. Nice early example with a magnetic head!
