Z6953 Scarce .50 Rimfire Cartridge (Ball Carbine / US Naval Academy)
Description: Nice example of the .50 rimfire cartridge. This cartridge has had a few names over the years and I’m not sure if a positive identification has been made. I’ve seen these called a .50 Ball Carbine and a .50 Naval Academy cartridge. This one came in listed as ".50 Pistol by Smith, Hall, and Buckland. Made for U.S. Naval Academy.” Excellent example with a little spotting on the case.
