Z7168 .25-30 Experimental Rifle Cartridge by Winchester (W.F.C.#23)
Description: Very rare cartridge known as the .25-30 cartridge designed for single shot rifles. This is one of Winchester’s "Forgotten Cartridges.” Foster dates this one to the early 1890’s. It has a flat nose lead bullet with two knurled cannelures, a necked brass case, and a brass primer. The bullet has two tiny flat spots on the side and the brass case has a little spotting. A hard-to-find cartridge!
