Z7277 .45-70 U.S.G. "Board Dummy” Cartridge by W.R.A.Co.

Description: Nice .45-70 U.S.G. (United States Government) wood rod board dummy cartridge by Winchester. These were used in the U.S. Army Model 1873 rifles. These first appeared in the 1878 Winchester catalogue. It has a flat nose bullet, a cracked 2.1” brass case, and a dented #1 brass oval primer. A decent example with plenty of the original lacquer with some spotting.
