Description: Scarce iron single cavity bullet mold for the .36 Savage Navy revolver. This is what I would consider "barn find” condition but could have easily come from a garage, basement, etc. This example has mild uniform pitting over all the exterior surfaces. The mold block still has some shine on the inside. This example has a single cavity. It’s important to note that the base has the tie-ring present. These are typically found on skin cartridges manufactured by D.C. Sage whereas the straight or rebated bases are found on paper cartridges manufactured by Chadwick. Every moving piece is fully functional, and it would clean up nicely! This mold comes with a single excavated example. A hard-to-find mold!
