Z7344 Federal Riflemen Coat Button
Description: Nice two-piece example of a Federal Riflemen coat button. This example has plenty of gilt surrounding an eagle facing right with an "R” in a recessed shield. The shank is slightly bent to the side. This example was recovered from private property on Maryland Heights many years ago. Maryland Heights overlooks Harpers Ferry, West Virginia.
Backmark: "HORSTMANN & ALLIEN / N.Y” with rays.
Measures: 20.80
