Z7413 .58 Berdan Conversion Musket Cartridge by W.R.A.Co.
Description: Decent example of the .58 Berdan conversion musket cartridge by Winchester. These first appeared in the 1875 Winchester catalog and were gone by 1917. Shuey states the headstamped version first appeared in the 1914 catalog. This example has a flat nose bullet with a single exposed cannelure. The case is brass with a #1 oval brass primer. A nice example with one small dent near the case mouth. The bullet appears to have been coated at some point.
