Z7496 .57/.58 Turkish Snider "Board Dummy” Cartridge

Description: Nice example of a .57 or .58 Turkish Snider cartridge. These are also referred to as the .57 Snyder round. They were manufactured for the surplus British Snider conversion rifles sold to Turkey. These cartridges were manufactured by both U.M.C. and Winchester for export. This example has a round nose bullet, a brass case and a brass primer. This example has a wooden rod on the inside with two holes on the back or board side of the cartridge. A nice example of harder to find Turkish Snider "board dummy” cartridge.
