Z7584 Sleeve of .56-50 Spencer Cartridges Sage Ammunition Works
Description: Full and sealed sleeve of .56-50 Spencer cartridges used in the Model 1865 Spencer carbine. This sleeve, and the contents, were manufactured by Sage Ammunition Works of Middletown, Connecticut. This example holds 7 cartridges within a pasteboard box that is partially wrapped in buff paper.
These were originally packaged in a single box containing six sleeves of seven cartridges for a total of 42 rounds per box. This would make an excellent display piece next to your M1865 Spencer carbine!
