Z7596 British .577 Snider Mark V Cartridge
Description: Decent example of the British Mark V or Pattern V cartridge. This example has brown paper cemented over a brass foil case. The base of the cartridge has a brass reinforced coil and cup. The head is iron with a brass battery cup and a copper primer. Unlike the earlier examples, the Mark V has brown paper wrap and was the last in the series to have a Sycamore expansion plug in the nose. A decent example with dents on the sides making the case somewhat square and flat. There are a few scrapes on the side of the nose.
