Z7620 Light Green Umbrella Inkwell (Open Pontil)
Description: Nice example of an excavated Civil War era "Umbrella” Inkwell. This one has a light green color unlike your typical aqua colored inks. There are eight sides, and the lip is rolled. The base has a nice mold seam with an open pontil mark in the center. It still has dirt on the inside and still needs a decent cleaning. The last picture is the inkwell without any adjustments to the photograph.
Measures: 2 1/8” x 2 ¼”
Recovered: Unknown
