Z7650 Aqua Civil War Era Inkwell (Open Pontil)
Description: Nice example of a Civil War era inkwell. This example is cone shaped with scalloped or lined sides. There is a section on one side that isn’t decorative. This was manufactured this way so the ink manufacturer could glue a paper label within the rectangle. It has a rolled lip with two small fracture lines on the lip. Luckily, this example is still intact! A great piece for any camp life display!
