Z7652 .44-60-396 Sharps & Remington Cartridge
Description: Decent example of the .44-60-396 necked centerfire cartridge. This example has a rounded head and was manufactured by U.M.C. It has a round nose 396-grain paper patched bullet, a necked brass case, and a brass primer. This cartridge was introduced in the late 1860’s-early 1870’s for the single shot rifles. The same case was also used in the .44-60 Winchester & Peabody "Creedmoor” rifle. There are a few spots on the case and the paper patch is lightly soiled.
