Description: Very nice Martin-primed .50-70-450 Govt. cartridge. This example has the re-entrant fold and would have been manufactured at the Frankford Arsenal in November/December 1871. The top portion of the cartridge is cylindrically throated or slightly necked. A very nice example with one very small ding or dent on the side of the copper case.
