Description: Nice early example of a 9MM pinfire cartridge manufactured by Chaudun & Deriviere of Paris France. This style of cartridge is known to have been excavated in a few Civil War sites in the United States. It has a pointed bullet, a copper case, and a brass pin. This example has a clear headstamp which is hard to find on these due to crude construction.
