Description: Very nice .45-70 Trapdoor Springfield rifle cartridge manufactured at the Frankford Arsenal in June of 1878. This is an internally Benet-primed cartridge with two crimps holding the cup in place. A very nice Indian War cartridge with a pre-1880 date!
