Z7774 .50-70 Govt. Cartridge Farrington Primed U.S.C.Co.

Description: Nice .50-70 rifle cartridge manufactured by the United States Cartridge Company. It has a flat nose bullet, a brass case, and a concave Farrington Primer. The Farrington Primer was patented by De Witt Clinton Farrington on December 17, 1872, as US Patent No. 133,929. Nice example with a few spots on the brass case. The cast bullet has a little excess lead on one side.
