Z7775 .50-70 Govt. Cartridge, Internally Primed, No Crimps

Description: Early .50-70-450 Government cartridge. This example is an internally Benet-primed centerfire cartridge with the early iron cup. The iron cup is held in place by slightly necking the case at the top of the cup. The later version of this cartridge has two crimps holding the copper cup in place. This example has a flat nose lead bullet and a copper case. A scarce early variant.
