Description: Nice example of the .44 Henry short case blank cartridge manufactured by the United States Cartridge Company of Lowell, Massachusetts. There are a few variants of the .44 Henry blank produced by this company. This example has a cardboard wad coated in wax seated below the roll crimped case mouth. A hard-to-find example with a few spots on the casing.

Headstamp: Raised "US” in a depressed circle.
