Z7823 Full Sleeve of .56-56 Spencer Cartridges by C&T
Description: Original, full and sealed sleeve of .56-56 Spencer rimfire cartridges. These were used in both the Model 1860 Spencer Navy & Army rifles as well as the Spencer, Ballard, and Joslyn carbines. This sleeve and the contents were manufactured by Crittenden & Tibbals of South Coventry, Connecticut. They were then packaged into boxes of 42 and labeled with the Spencer Armory address in Boston. This is one of the early sleeves and is directly out of an early box with the tan label and the Armory address. I have included a picture of the box lid that is not included in this lot.

These cartridges were originally packaged into a single box containing six sleeves of seven cartridges for a total of 42 rounds per box. Please note, this lot is for a sleeve of seven cartridges. This sleeve is fully sealed and clean. This would make an excellent display piece next to your Model 1860 Army/Navy rifle.
