Description: Nice, original Associated Press photograph from July of 1965 featuring a Model 137 pistol. This photograph was taken by MBA Chief Artist Dave Comstock and was distributed around the world. There is a little more information about this iconic photo in Mel’s book on Pg. 140. This photograph has a glossy front with a few creases and wrinkles. If you look closely, the bottom half of the moon or planet has been colored in making a perfect rectangle. The back of the photo has the original Associated press stamp along with a newspaper clipping dated July 2, 1965. A great piece of MBA history!
