Z7841 U.S. Model 1874 Tinned Mess Cup
Description: Decent Model 1874 Indian War tinned mess cup. This one has a riveted handle with "US” stamped into the curved section of the handle. The lip is rolled for reinforcement and the seam under the handle runs from the top to the bottom. This is a decent example with two small dents from service. This M1874 mess cup has a pleasing patina along with an old collection number on the bottom. The bottom is lightly scratched with what appears to be, "J BABO Co. B 6th ???? ???????. A nice item from the Indian War Era!
Measures: 4.2” in height by 4” in diameter
