Z7833 Full Box of .30-40 Krag Multi-Ball Cartridges (1903)

Description: Very nice full and sealed box of twenty .30 multi-ball cartridges for the M1898 Krag rifle. This box was manufactured at the Frankford Arsenal in 1903. Each cartridge contains two .30 round balls crimped into the cartridge between the neck and the case mouth. This box is in excellent shape with very little soiling. The pull string is intact and tucked away behind the paper wrapper. The top of the lid is clearly marked "AUG. 17, 1903.” Both lid corner seams are split on the left-hand side. An excellent display piece for your Krag rifle!
