Z8310 Federal Regulation 1839 Pattern US Cartridge Box Plate
Description: Nice example of an early excavated cartridge box plate. This example has a flat body with a few very slight pushes to the edges. The back retains all the lead solder, and both iron attachment loops are intact. The face of the plate has and even dirty patina. Both attachment loops are bent at a slight angle. There are two stickers on the reverse. One has the recovery location and the other states that the plate was purchased at the NSSA #13 from Mike Klinepeter on October 2, 1982.
