Description: Nice, 9MM pinfire cartridge manufactured by Chaudun & Deriviere of Paris, France. These were used in 9MM handguns using the Lefaucheux pinfire system. This is an early variant, and these have been excavated on Civil War sites in the United States. A very nice example with a few spots.

Headstamp: Raised "C.D over 9”
