Z8340 10 Ga. "ZULU” Shotshell by Kynoch
Description: Decent example of the 10 Ga. "ZULU” brass shotshell that is attributed to Kynoch of England. These are thought to have used in the Belgian/French "ZULU” shotguns sold in the 1880's-1890's. These shotshells used a #1 or #1 ½ brass Berdan primer. This shell has been used as the primer is dented and the inside is oxidized. The brass case has a few small dents, and the case mouth is a little rough on one side. The case has four different lines of four dents near the case mouth. This was patented by Kynoch in 1881 and helped to keep the wad in place. A nice example that would look great next to your 10 Ga. "Zulu” Tabatiere conversion shotgun.
