Description: Nice, complete packet of 10 .50 carbine rimfire blank cartridges for the M1865 Spencer carbine. These cartridges were manufactured at the Frankford Arsenal in 1870 and were primarily used for training purposes. The cartridges are housed in a pasteboard wrapped in buff paper with an applied blue label. The pull string is intact, and the packet has light soiling. A nice example of an Indian War era Spencer packet. The label reads as follows:
