Z8357 Early 12 Ga. "TRAP” Window Shotshell by U.M.C.
Description: Nice example of the early 12 Ga. "TRAP” shotshell by the Union Metallic Cartridge Company of Bridgeport, Connecticut. This is a "Window” or salesman sample. It has a soiled white top wad with black print. The green paper case has faded and is slightly soiled. It has a two-piece cup with a No. 3 copper primer that has been punched. The headstamp is highlighted with white out. A nice example with the contents clearly separated.
Headstamp: "U.M.C.CO. / No 12 / TRAP”
Top Wad: "DUPONT / 3 / 1 1/8 7 / U.M.C.CO.”
Measures: OAL 2.444” RD .876” HD .804” Cup Height 1.086”
