Description: Nice example of a 12 Ga. N.P.E. paper shotshell. This example was made for John Krider of Philadelphia by Eley of London. It has a Salmon paper case with "ELEY’S / Gas Tight Cartridge Case / for EC Gunpowder” on the side. It has a brass cup and battery cup with a copper primer. This is a metal lined shotshell. A nice example of an imported sporting cartridge case. This cartridge would date to the late 19th century or very early 20th century.
Headstamp: "KRIDER. PHILA. / .No. 12 / ELEY.”
Measures: OAL 2 7/8” or 2.860”
