Z8437 .40-70 Ballard Everlasting Cartridge by WRACo.
Description: Nice example of the .40-70-330 Ballard Everlasting cartridge manufactured by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company. This was a popular sporting and target cartridge of the late 1800’s. This cartridge first appeared in the 1882 Winchester catalog and was gone by 1917. It has a 330-grain paper patched bullet, a brass case, and a No. 1 oval brass Winchester primer. A nice example with a little soiling on the paper patch and a few spots on the case.
