Z8165 Early .54 Buck n’ Ball Cartridge
Description: Here is a very nice pulp paper cartridge found with several others in a Massachusetts Meeting House. This example is .54 or 32 balls/pound. It has light gray colored pulp paper. This example is in excellent shape with a few small holes around the buckshot. The string wrap is very tight, and the cartridge is solid. There is an old collection number under the folded tail. An excellent War of 1812 or Seminole Era flintlock cartridge!
