Z5906 .45 Revolver Cartridge, M1906
Description: Very nice M1906 revolver ball cartridge. These were manufactured at the Frankford Arsenal between 1905-1906. Suydam states, "The adoption of the .45 Colt M1909 revolver, and, later, the M1911 auto pistol, cancelled interest in this cartridge. This example has a round nose FMJ bullet and uses a copper primer. A short-lived U.S. .45 cartridge!
