Z6830 1” Gatling Gun Cartridge Benet Primer Dud
Description: Decent 1” Gatling Gun cartridge with a copper cup Benet primer. The crimps to hold the Benet primer cup are approximately .395” up from the base and are .486” apart. This example is a dud. You can clearly see an indent in the center of the base. If you shake this example, you can hear very little powder in the casing. It weighs 3,908 grains as is. This example has a pointed two-groove bullet. There is a small flat spot on one side of the nose and some oxidation flaking. The copper case has a flat spot on one side. The Benet-primed cartridge date to the 1868+ range.
